What is a Joiner

A Joiner works for an employer or has their own businesses designing, making, finishing and installing timber fittings and products. Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Draw up plans and diagrams for client requirements
  • Meet with clients to define needs and supply quotes
  • Source, measure, cut, finish and install timber or other wood items for stairways, window frames, cabinets and doors
  • Develop technical drawings and designs for products
