What is a Hotel Manager

A Hotel Manager is fully responsible for managing and running all aspects of a hotel including hospitality, guest services and more.  Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Manage, co-ordinate and oversee all marketing activities for the hotel
  • Meet and greet visitors, assisting them with the check-in process
  • Assist with visitor accommodation bookings
  • Co-ordinate and arrange tours and concierge services
  • Oversee the day to day management of the hotel website
  • Responsible for budgetary requirements and handling accounts
  • Manage and oversee health and safety requirements
  • Management and training of staff and large staff groups
  • Coordination and planning of hotel events
