What is a Food Technologist
A Food Technologist has a keen interest in science and research. Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:
- New ingredient sourcing and selecting
- Streamlining manufacturing processes
- Design and development of new and improved food packaging
- Quality assurance assessment for food products
- Nutritional property assessment of food products
- Conduct tests and trials of new food products
- Develop new drink and food products
- Measure and improve the quality of current drink and food products
