What is a Financial Advisor

A Financial Advisor assists with forecasting and financial planning, insurance requirements and investment advice. They can work for themselves or as part of a large corporate. Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Identify and work with short, medium and long term fiscal goals with clients
  • Motivate and provide accountability and support to help clients meet their financial goals
  • Prepare and provide advice and guidance on investment and financial plans
  • Record income and expenditure statements 
  • Review and provide financial advice on insurance, investments, retirement planning, income streams, tax and estate planning
  • Regular reporting and planning assistance for clients on a quarterly basis
