What is a Energy & Chemical Plant Operator
An Energy and Chemical Plant operator assess, maintains and manages high-risk operations such as oil wells, gas plants and power stations. Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:
- Manage and maintain all kinds of equipment that process things like electricity and electricity products, chemicals, gas, natural gas and petroleum products
- Maintain and upgrade equipment to sustain efficiency and ensure safety
- Record and report on readings for temperature and pressure of equipment
- Repairs and maintenance of equipment
- Chemical and water sampling
