What is a Electrical Engineer

An Electrical Engineer develops all kinds of electrical processes, delivery methods and equipment. Day to day tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Prepare budgets, material requirements and forecasts for projects
  • Create, design, assess and revise electrical engineering plans
  • Streamline and automate electrical process and delivery methods
  • Oversee maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
  • Oversee installation of electrical equipment and systems
  • Supervise electrical system and delivery tests
  • Write instruction manuals for electrical equipment and systems installation
  • Identify and report on electrical system faults and correct them
